Pleasant Oaks Estates is in Wolcottville, Indiana about 58 minutes north of Fort Wayne and 81 minutes west of South Bend. A great community of 25 homes, it is about 17 minutes north west of Kendalville and its various amenities, such as the Walmart Super Center, and important employers, such as Kraft Foods. Wolcottville is a town in Johnson Township, LaGrange County and Orange Township, Noble County in the U.S. state of Indiana.[6] The population was 998 at the 2010 census. Wolcottville was laid out in 1849. It was named for George Wolcott, who started a sawmill at the site in 1838. Wolcottville has a total area of 1.02 square miles (2.64 km2), all land.[9] In addition to these year-round residents, many homes in the area are lake cottages occupied only in the summers. Many of the owners of these cottages come from Fort Wayne and South Bend.
